AJ Vittone, AKA "The Vittone Zone", has been described by many as a Sports Broadcasting "Cult Hero" and "Phenomenon."
Known for his unique storytelling style and engaging personality, AJ is considered to be arguably one of the most entertaining, charismatic, animated and truly passionate TV Sports Anchors in the business today! During his storied career, AJ has interviewed some of the biggest names in Sports and Entertainment including the likes of; Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Derek Jeter, Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Tom Brady, Jeff Gordon, Sugar Ray Leonard, Sylvester Stallone, Billy Crystal, Bill Murray, Leslie Nielsen and many, many more. Known as a "Boxing Guru", for his love and knowledge of the "Sweet Science", AJ created and developed the landmark program, "Standing 8 Count", which is believed to be the first ever Television News Program (designed for a national television audience) devoted entirely to the sport of Boxing! AJ has also commentated Boxing events for both television and radio and written several Boxing feature stories & columns for various news publications and web sites. In 2017, Vittone was inducted into the Berkshire County Boxing Hall of Fame (MA) for his contributions to the sport as a Broadcaster and Journalist. AJ's career actually began at the University of Hartford, where AJ co-founded and co-created, STN-TV "Channel 2 News" - the University's "First Ever" LIVE student-run newscast. STN-TV "Channel 2 News" still exists to this day and has won a plethora of awards and produced several talented industry professionals currently shaping and redefining the Television News business.
